The formula is: measured quantity is sections = ceiling(adjusted run ÷ stock section length); allowance is adjusted quantity = measured quantity × (1 + allowance ÷ 100); order rounding is purchase quantity = adjusted quantity rounded up to a purchasable unit.

This calculation uses no default material density or yield; its product values and allowances come from the visible inputs and should be checked against the drawing, label or supplier.
